Workpackage III (“Online Tool for Monitoring of Land Use and Water Efficiency”) of the regional research network ‘Central Asian Water’ (CAWa) with project partners in Germany and Central Asia is seeking a highly self-motivated, independently working, communicativeand team-oriented fulltime (100%) research associate with technical expertise in the field of Remote Sensing (RS) and GIS, from April to December2018. The main tasks of the successful candidate lie in the technical implementation of the validation component within theWUEMoCA tool (http://wuemoca.net/app/). The candidate will offered a comprehensive training in the sustainable tool operation and validation framework and techniques (preferentially April and May) at the Department of Remote Sensing in Würzburg (Germany).
