Associate Professor Dr. Lutz Mez was awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his merits in the scientific research on the exit of nuclear and fossil-fuel energy and the development of a sustainable energy policy on Federal, Länder and European Union level in the last decades.
